Cherokee Trail had their run of things at state this year, but when you look at the list of returning athletes, it's clear that Fort Collins is still very much in the hunt for things next year. Both teams return a strong set of athletes, but it is Fort Collins that sees almost no impact at all due to graduation this spring.
And, if you're looking for where competition is thickest, the city of Fort Collins boasts three of the top four teams--on this analysis, at least.
