Team scoring the 8-14 runners on every team in the state isn't the only way to measure which teams in the state have the most depth, but it is at least one way of getting very close to the answer in a hurry. And, right now, Fairview tops the charts for all schools, TCA for 4A, and Salida for 3A. To my knowledge, no 2A team has enough to make the cut on this list.
We want to acknowledge, of course, that this list is subject to much revision as teams develop over the season and as more teams get opportunities to run the fastest courses in the state.
