If you're a big fan of Brighton cross country, this was your kind of meet.

It was not merely a home meet, which should be good enough, but it was also a serious piece of domination by the homestanding team.

Brighton spotted Prairie View's Xavier Hunt the winning time of 17:26 for the boys race, but after that it was a ravenous pack of Bulldogs. Ricky Friedly, Chase Weliever, and Juan Martinez went 2-3-4, with Brighton stuffing three more into the top ten.

And so, an otherwise nice performance by Prairie View got relegated to second place in the team scoring.
