On balance, there has been amazing stability in the rankings this season. Without a doubt, places have shuffled a little but the 10 teams at the top of each classification and gender have remained remarkably consistent. We simply haven't seen many of the kind of upsets or surges this year that move teams dramatically in the polls. You'll see that in each of the set of rankings below:

Heritage Christian Academy and Lyons don't quite have everyone convinced in 2A, but it's pretty close.

In 3A, Lamar retains its grip at the top of the boys rankings, but we have some uncertainty at the top of the girls. And, it's a kind of uncertainty that isn't likely to be settled before state.

It's been a while since Air Academy ran their full girls squad, but they managed to make a few more believers this week nevertheless. Palmer Ridge remains atop the boys rankings, but potentially a big showing in Arizona by Durango this weekend could chip away at that.

It's going to take something serious to dislodge Mountain Vista from the top of 5A boys, and Cherry Creek's showing in Portland this weekend put the most of the skeptics to rest for a while.
