Next year's 3A cross country classification will be much changed over last year, with several teams coming down from 4A and a few teams moving out into 4A.
Shown below is a virtual meet of teams slated to be in next year's 3A Boys classification (pending requests to run up to the next classification).
The early read on this story is that Alamosa looks to be aiming at a third consecutive 3A Boys crown, but they should see some competition along the way. Best 5K times for each athlete from the 2015 season are used to compile this virtual meet.
Incoming freshmen next fall are not taken into account in this analysis.
