It has been, perhaps, a bit slower start to the indoor season this year for Colorado than it has been in several recent years.

As of the weekend just completed, Colorado has two representatives in the national top-20 indoor rankings for boys. Javan Lanier checks in tied for second in the 60 meter dash rankings at 6.84 and 17th in the long jump rankings at 22-10.5. And, Chris Youngs checks in tied for 19th in the 60 meter dash rankings at 6.96.

Ryan Eddings just misses a spot in the national top 20 with his 6.98.

Brock Miller makes the top 40 in the 200. Ryan Vomacka and Kharon Hall the top 30 in the 500 and triple jump, respectively. After that, crickets.

A good weekend of competition at the Martin Luther King Mile-High might change a lot of that, however.
