Where Are We This Year Versus Last Year's State-Qualifying Standards? 1A Girls

Now that there have been a couple weekends of 1A meets, it's worth asking the question of where things stand with respect to last year. Yesterday, we treated 1A Boys. Today, we come back and take the same look at 1A Girls.

At this point, it could be a possibility that every 1A Girls pole vaulter advances to state this year. Thus far, only six 1A girls have a pole vault mark of record for the season.

The other events, however, are starting to fill in and approach last year's qualifying standards. The table below shows the minimum 1A state qualifying standards at the end of last season in the middle column. The right-hand column shows where the minimum state-qualifying position is for the current season to date.

Expect a couple of updates on this as the season progresses.
