Weather is as weather does during track season. Nowhere was that more on display than at Friday's Pomona Invitational. What is a meet director to do when they have a two-day, 56-team extravaganza planned, and a random spring storm threatens to eliminate the entire affair?

In this case, the meet management at Pomona (at the suggestion of John Reyes) made what looks to be a brilliant move in reorganizing the meet in to essentially two track meets; a highly competitive top-flight meet on Friday before the four snowmen of the snowpocalypse cross the stadium, and an everyone-else track meet the following day, weather permitting.
