The margin between making the team and not making the team was breathtakingly close for several athletes here. Not surprisingly, state champion Pomona led representation on the team with four athletes. Regis Jesuit, Hinkley, and Fountain-Fort Carson both had doubles on the team.
Breaking down by classes, there were three sophomores, four juniors, and 13 seniors in all. And, amazingly, there is but one carryover member from last year's 5A Boys all-state team. Listed below are this year's selections for Colorado Track XC 5A All-State:
