In a few short years, the Arvada West Invitational has gone from a sleepy, lightly-attended meet on a pancake-flat soccer complex in Arvada to a large and very competitive meet on a pancake-flat soccer complex in Arvada.
I'll be publishing meet records for this event later today, but I wanted to spend some time now talking about the possibilities for this year's verison of the meet.
Racing begins at 3:15 on Friday afternoon at the Stenger Soccer Complex. Slated to be in attendance are teams from Alameda International, Arrupe Jesuit, Arvada, Arvada West, Bishop Machebeuf, Compass Montessori, Denver East, Denver Waldorf, D'Evelyn, Front Range Christian, Golden View Classical, Grandview, Green Mountain, Jefferson Academy, Legacy, Overland, Prospect Ridge Academy, Ralston Valley, SkyView Academy, Standley Lake, Valor Christian, and Westminster.
