A Few Colorado Questions for Simplot to Answer...

Can somebody, anybody, smash through the 50-second barrier?

We've gone an entire season to-date with nobody from Colorado breaking 50 seconds in the 400. Nik Chappee won't be at Simplot, but AJ Thompson, Brock Miller, Isaiah Lapioli, Nolan Kembel, and Alex Strohecker will be. Is there a sub-50 in the house?

Can Colorado get one or more entries to the 1600 or 3200 finals?

When you line up against practically every top distance runner from Utah, you assume nothing. But, Colorado does have some solid entries in the 1600. We have James Lee, Ben Kelley, Cole Sprout, and a few more. Can anyone here advance to Saturday? In the 3200, it's all about Silver Creek--Logan Simington, Brock Dykema, and John Moroney. Once again, the field is daunting. Will we get an advancer?

How about those Elevate Athletics relays?

It's easy to ignore indoor season relays, but the Elevate 4x200 and 4x400 constitute an exception to easy-to-ignore. Elevate is mostly Vista Ridge. And, Elevate has been fielding relays at every opportunity this indoor season. They've also entered their big guns sparingly in individual events. I read all of this as an indication that they intend to go hard after the 4x200 and 4x400. I'll try to help you follow their fortunes closely through the weekend.

How high can Corbin Mayes go?

Mayes has already cleared 16-0 this indoor season. Is there another PR in Mayes' indoor season? Is there a win waiting at the end of his pole?
