Chaynee Kingsbury is one solid reason why Windsor should be on your short list of 4A Girls teams to watch this spring.

This will be the last of our long, hard looks at each classification and gender heading into the 2017 Colorado high school track and field season. That means, starting tomorrow I'm going to have to start thinking of new ideas to write about...

But first this.

4A Girls will have a new state champion this spring. That much is settled. But which team? Will it be Niwot back on top after a one-year hiatus? Will it be the Valor team that showed a lot of depth and talent in indoor season? Or will it end up being a longer shot, perhaps a team that's barely on the radar screen right now?

I won't be able to provide definitive answers to any of those questions, but we can start the investigation here.
