Brooke Schmidt, Wiggins High School: Schmidt threw over 40 feet for the first time in her career in the shot put at the New Balance Indoor National Championship. She threw 40-7 to finish 12th overall in the championship division!
Delaney Reuter, Eaton High School: Reuter started off her track season very strong with a 10:27 season opener for the 3200m. She won the event by 30 seconds at the Murray Kula Invitational against some very tough competition. Her time is currently ranked in the top 5 in the whole nation!
Zenobia Witt, Eaglecrest High School: Witt finished 3rd overall in the long jump at the New Balance Indoor National Championship for a new personal best mark of 20-1.5! Her mark puts her well ahead of any outdoor marks currently and one of the best long jumps in the whole nation this season and in the top 10 all-time for Colorado!
Zona Welling, Heritage High School: Welling took an impressive win at the Murray Kula Invitational in the 100m, beating some of the top sprinters in Colorado, including Addyson Smith, Maya Brasch, and Kiana Cumings. She ran 12.07 and has the top time in the event for the state! She also ran 57.33 in the 400m to take the victory and the top spot for Colorado.
Braylee Foster, Hoehne High School: Foster tied the #1 spot in Colorado for high jump getting over the bar at 5-6, and she took the individual victory at the Banana Belt Classic! She improved upon her personal best mark of 5-5 that she set last season.
