Once again, it appears to be distance by committee at Palmer Ridge High School.

If you checked in with yesterday's 3A Girls report card, you already know the format here.

We'll start with a listing of the top ten performances in 4A Boys for each event. There's a slight bit of an issue here in that Durango has competed in New Mexico and marks from the Land of Enchantment get included without wind readings. But, that's a comparatively minor issue in the great scheme of things.

Next, we take those rankings from the season to date and score them as a meet. With most 4A Boys teams having at least two meets under their belt already, that affords a very nice--though still not quite complete--of the relative strength of the top teams.

Finally, I revisit the top five teams from our preseason analysis and take a closer look at how things are going for each of them so far this season. Any teams that are edging closer toward top five status are discussed at the end.
