A weekend trip to Austin has me behind on a few things around the site, even though it was a comparatively light weekend of track and field action.
Most of what I need to catch up on at this point involves regular maintenance of the rankings.
Through the month of March, I posted results from non-rankings meets to athlete pages. That serves several purposes, among them giving a more realistic feel to the rankings and providing seed marks. At this point, however, the rankings start getting more serious. So, one of my jobs for the rest of the week is to make sure I'm up-to-date on horizontal jump marks that weren't shown in the official results due to a better wind-aided mark and removing marks that don't actually count for rankings (as from JV meets), at least as deep as top-18 in any event is concerned.
I should be done with that by the end of the week.
There are a couple of other minor fixes that need to be negotiated in the rankings, and I will get to those as I can. But, if they involve requiring a programming change, sometimes I have to leave those up for a couple of days so that the tech team can see the problem and figure out the necessary fix.
I appreciate your patience with me as I work through these things.
