Gerald (Tommy) Archuleta coached the track and cross country programs at Antonito High School south of Alamosa.
The life of Antonito coach Gerald (Tommy) Archuleta was taken in an automobile accident east of Center on Monday evening.
Archuleta taught sixth grade in the South Conejos School District and coached the Antonito High School track and cross country programs. He also actively competed as a triathlete.
Prior to taking the positions in Antonito, Archuleta competed at Adams State and was an assistant coach at Center High school.
