2017 Highlands Ranch Memorial: She's Baaaaack!

Colton Homuth Throws Things (Far)

A few of the top throwers from the teams attending the meet were not in action. But, don't include Colton Homuth on that list. Homuth was very much in action.

How dominant was Homuth? His nice, round 150 feet beat Regis Jesuit's Tama Tuitele by four-and-a-half feet.

Still more impressive was Homuth's winning shot put of 52-8, a throw that once again left Tuitele four-and-a-half feet in arrears.

Better still, both throws set new PR standards for Homuth, the shot put by nearly two feet. Homuth now joins teammate Sierra Suazo as a legitimate state meet threat in the throws.
