Brennan Stice's solid performance as a freshman in the small school open race gives Gunnison reason to be optimistic about their prospects for next year.

There were several astonishingly good times turned in by Colorado's freshman class of boys in Casa Grande on Saturday. In all, at least 58 Colorado freshmen competed at NXR-SW this year. Here's how the top 25 (all races) checked in:
