Reeburgh, Mourer Impress In Middle School Mile At NBNI

Bryce Reeburgh dropped 19-seconds off his mile personal best to run 5:00.68 in the Middle School Mile Sunday.

While the best high school track and field athletes battled for national titles, the next crop of titans battled it out in the Middle School Mile Sunday morning at New Balance Nationals Indoor.
Colorado's Lily Mourer stepped on the track with a 5:38 personal best. When she was done, five minutes and 24-seconds later, she had a new 14-second PR, and a 10th-place finish to add to her resume.
Likewise, Bryce Reeburgh chopped an astonishing 19-seconds off his personal best in the boys mile. While the massive PR was clearly exciting, Reeburgh just missed on breaking the magical five-minute barrier, running 5:00.68 to finish 12th.

Lily Mourer ran 5:24 to finished 10th in the Middle School Mile Sunday.
