NXR-SW 2018: Three Colorado Teams to NXN

Open Races

While Colorado dominated the championship races, all that domination was preceded by some nice work in the open races as well.

D'Evelyn manhandled the girls small school race, with Basalt's Sierra Bower taking the individual title. Note: this is a correction from the first version of this article. One set of results posted had Battle Mountain listed as champions, but the title belongs to D'Evelyn.

Isabella Prosceno won the medium school (1) girls individual title, leading Palmer Ridge to the team title there as well. Lucca Fulkerson, running under the REAL Training umbrella, won the medium school (2) girls race.

In the large school girls races, Isalina Colsman won the first race, while Shayda Zarrin won the second race. Zarrin led Mountain Vista to that team title. Note that it was a Mountain Vista B team...

And, guess what, Battle Mountain also won the small school boys race, beating out Salida to claim that honor.

Colorado couldn't manage any wins in the medium school boys races.

Fort Collins won the first large school boys race, and the the Mountain Vista B team very nearly won the second large school boys race.
