A Stellar Night At Steinhauer Field House

From the first race of the night it was evident that this mine shaft was littered with gold.

Kicking off the night was the girl's 60, which featured the trio of Sydney HolidayAnna Hall, and Lauren Cox, among the many big names in the race.

Holiday, who came down from Wyoming, once again pushed Colorado's best to the line. The junior took the win in 7.67, just ahead of Hall, who finished second in 7.76, and Cox, who finished third in 7.86.

Hall's runner-up finish to start the night was but a mere warm-up for the Valor Christian senior. She went on to win the long jump in 19-9, which is a new US No. 1 mark, as well as Colorado No. 1, and it's just off her PR of 19-10.5.

Hall also won the shot put in 40-7, a Colorado No. 1 mark, and a PR.

Adding to Hall's big, big night were a slew of top-tier performances.

Esther Diza-Mbelolo proved to be a major threat this coming season, as she was a dominating victor in the 60 hurdles. The senior won the event in 8.95, which is the No. 3 time in Colorado so far this season, only behind Hall, and her own 8.91.

The 400 saw a tight battle between Miranda Manfre and Bailey Pignatore. The two battled around the track and it was Manfre with the lean claim the victory in 1:00.63 to Pignatore's 1:01.11.

Carley Bennett was the runaway winner in the 800. The Lakewood senior set a hard early pace and never relinquished her lead, winning the event in 2:26, a full two seconds ahead of Michela Hewitt's 2:28.

The mile was a Peak Performance affair. Evergreen freshman Lanie Szuch dominated the field with a 5:26 victory. Behind her seventh-grader Reese Tucker, and eighth-grader Lily Mourer went 2-3, running 5:38, and 5:46.

The high jump saw a three-way tie at 5-0 between Lexye WoodTaylor James, and Josie Coffey, while

Lizzie Waters was a clear winner in the pole vault, going 10-0 to win the event by a foot.
