I'm kidding, it'll definitely be humid in Greensboro - it's North Carolina in June.
Two of the highest quality meets in the country just so happen to fall on the same weekend this year, which is absolutely fantastic. I can't think of a better way to bring the best athletes in the country together to compete than to have two dueling meets on the same weekend, forcing the opposite.
I'm hoping by now that you've picked up on the sarcasm, because it is indeed purposeful.
But as The Office's Oscar Martinez once so famously stated: "Look it doesn't take a genius to know that every organization thrives when it has two leaders. Go ahead, name a country that doesn't have two presidents. A boat that sets sail without two captains. Where would Catholicism be, without the popes."
Brooks PR and New Balance Nationals Outdoor are set to take place this weekend, splitting not only the best athletes in the country across the country - Seattle, or Greensboro? - but Colorado's best will be split as well.
