Jonas Graff is one of a handful of freshmen who could make a splash on the high school scene this fall.

Like the incoming girl's freshmen class, deciphering the boy's side was challenging. Because like the girls, the 2018 performance list includes several distances, and no one athlete competed in every distance. 

So, there is no clear leader, though we do have an idea...

Please keep in mind this is a very subjective outlook. 

Jonas Graff not only owns the fastest 3,000 in his class (his 9:09 personal best topped the class by nearly 30 seconds last year), but he was undefeated in the distance. The only time he crossed the finish line to find the tape parted for him was the 2018 Colorado Middle School State Championships, where he finished third in 12:07 for the 3,500 distance.

Additionally, Graff's 4:57 1,600 tops the class on the track.
