Three-day weekends are great because they give you another reason to relook at everything that just happened.

And there was a lot that went down over the past four days...

There was Cherry Creek taking over the individual thrones, with Parker Wolfe and Riley Stewart running state-leading times of 15:37 and 18:03 at the Arapahoe Warrior Invite... 

Let's call that the Cherry On Top...

Of Additional note - Cherry Creek girl's went 1-2-3 and went on to claim the team title with 45 points. But don't sleep on Arapahoe - they finished second just seven points back with 52...

There was Isalina Colsman dropping a big time 18:36 victory at Washington Park, and Bryce Reeburgh getting his first big win in the high school ranks. 

There was Elizabeth Schweiker opening her season with an impressive 19:09 victory at the Horizon Invite. 

There was the introduction of The Classical Academy's Sawyer Wilson, who won her first high school 5k in a stellar 19:13 at the Widefield Invite, and Ben Conlin's runaway victory. Of additional note, Quin Gregg now owns the fastest 5k in 2A by a minute - she ran 19:50 to finish fourth at the meet.

There was William Ledden and his huge 16:09 victory at Andy Myers - that's just 10 seconds off his Colorado PR from Liberty Bell last year. 

There was Noel Lopez throwing down the gauntlet with a 16:03 win at the Rocky Ford Invite - that's the fastest time in 2A by over 40 seconds right now...
