The Cherry Creek freshman had perhaps her best race yet, running 17:47, which was the fastest by a Colorado freshman at the meet.

The performance was a 45-second personal best, and almost a minute faster than she ran at State.

Valor Christian's Brooke Wilson was the second fastest Colorado freshman on the day, and the only other to crack 18 minutes. Wilson ran 17:57, which was 13 seconds ahead of Pine Creek's Lauren Boutelle, who was the third fastest Colorado freshman Saturday, running 18:10.
