I spent the majority of the weekend pushing refresh on my computer - because there was a ton of action all across the country...

The highlight of the week has got to be Cruz Culpepper's insanely close Sub-4 full mile at the Husky Classic in Seattle. That's the fourth-fastest indoor mile by a high schooler ever, and it's the second time in two weeks that he's dipped under 4:02.

It sounds like Culpepper is closing up the book on his indoor season (see below), though he's clearly got a big outdoor season ahead of him.

Obviously, there was a ton of action in Idaho at the Simplot Games - with big wins coming from Mia Manson (PV), Sydney Holiday (60), Taylor James (800), and Gavin Schurr (200). 

Colorado always make their presence well known at Simplot, and this year wasn't any different.

While the numbers were in Idaho, Grant Bradley quietly dropped a big personal best in the mile in Kentucky. The Overland senior ran 4:17.55 at the UK High School Invitational. His outdoor (Colorado) PR is 4:31 - that 4:17 translates to a nicely sized PR...

And keep an eye on Alex Baca - the Gunnison junior ran 8:39 3,000 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston. That's a US No. 6 in the event. Outdoors he owns a 10:00 (Colorado) PR, so he just made one insanely massive leap over the weekend.
