Cherry Creek's Shelby Balding is the tenth-fastest 5k-3200 combined runner.
The 2020 cross country season is (hopefully) just around the corner, which mean it's time to start taking a glimpse at what's in front of us...
We'll start with the obvious factors here.
Since there wasn't much of a 2020 season for anyone, the majority of the 3,200 times are from 2019. A lot can change over the course of a year, so please keep that in mind.
Riley Stewart tops this list - and not by much. Her 17:03 5k and 10:55 3,200 combined for a 27:59 - the lone Sub-28 combined time. And it's just ahed of Cameron McConnell's 28:04.
McConnell's 17:13 5k is a clear 10 seconds behind Stewart, though her 10:50 3,200 brings her a bit closer overall.
Taylor Whitfield is the only other runner within 10 seconds of these two - her 17:34 5k and 10:35 3,200 combine for a 28:09.
Whitfield is the fastest 3,200 runner on this list.
If we're breaking this up by classification...
Stewart tops the 5A list (just ahead of McConnell).....
