So far The Classical Academy looks on route to keeping the tradition alive. They come in No. 1 on this list with a 1-5 average of 19:37, and a 1-5 split of 1:40.
Sawyer Wilson is their lone Sub-19 runner, so far, as she has run 18:44. But Kennedy McDonald is already knocking on the door - she's run 19:00. TCA currently has three under 20 minutes, and all five under 20:30.
On paper Faith Christian looks like a solid No. 2.
Lead by Audrey Orstead and Katherine Heekin, who have both dipped under 19:30, Faith Christian has a 1-5 average of 20:08, and a 1-5 split of 1:55. They nearly have three under 20 (Madi Eggers has run 20:02), and five under 21:22.
If this set of rankings were based on 1-5 average, Basalt would top this list - they've got two under 18 minutes.
