In the girl's sprints Emma Dikken dominated. 

The Platte Canyon picked up three impressive victories, winning the 100 in 13.54, the 200 in 27.37, and the 400 in 1:00.13. Her 400 time moved her up to the No. 2 spot in the 2A 400 rankings

On the topic of moving up to the No. 2 spot in the 2A rankings, Eowyn Dalbec won the 800 in 2:35.55, which is No. 2 in the event.


Meanwhile, Isabel Case ran away for a big win in the 1,600, running 5:52 - a 2A No. 6 in the event

In the high jump Maggie Haase was just one-inch off her 1A state-leading mark of 5-1. The Eads sophomore won the event with a 5-0 clearance. 

Emily Mason leapt to a new 1A No. 2 mark in the triple jump. Mason won the event with a leap of 32-11. 

In the discus Olivia Lay dominated the competition with a toss of 125-1. That's the top mark in 1A in the event. Likewise, Alexandria Tice won the shot put with a toss of 38-7.75 for a 3A No. 2

Lamar took the girl's team title, tallying 75 points, while Limon and Platte Canyon were separated by four points. Limon took second with 59.50, while Platte Canyon was third with 55.50.
