
The Durango girls return the third-fastest squad in the state.
Some of the 4A landscape will look familiar to previous years, some of it won't.
For starters, the Cheyenne Mountain boys enter the season as the early favorite. They return everyone from last year's State runner-up squad. They own a 15:41 1-5 average, and a 1-5 split of 1:43.
Niwot is the second-fastest returning squad with an average of 16:24, and a 1-5 split of 1:51 - though their performance list doesn't include their results from RunningLane, where they competed as REAL Training.
On paper Central (GJ) returns the third-fastest squad. They own a 16:43 average, and a 1-5 split of just 41-seconds. That split is only out-done by the fourth-fastest returning squad - Battle Mountain, who own a 16:49 average, and an impressive 31-second split.
As per the trend of the bast few years, it's Niwot and Battle Mountain on top of the girl's list.
