Agur Dwol had leapt her way into Colorado's Top Storylines two-consecutive years.
And in 2022 it wasn't just by flirting with the state record, it's because she broke the state record - twice.
As the saying goes, records are meant to be broken.
And for Dowl it was only a matter of time.
The Mullen senior officially leapt to her first Colorado triple jump outdoor state record of 41-10 at the Liberty Bell Invitational in April - that's a six-inch personal record. Needless to say, the mark was a Colorado No. 1, and a US No. 1 at the time.
Dwol's 41-10 eclipsed Sydnee Larkin's previous state record of 41-7 set in 2018.
And she was just getting started.
The Mullen senior had been slowly inching her way towards the record. She went over 41-feet three times during the regular season season, including her Liberty Bell performance, and a staggering 10 times over the past year. Additionally, she leapt to 42-0.75 indoors.
Add that she leapt to 41-4 at the 2021 edition of the Liberty Bell Invitational. Clearly, she loves that long runway...
While Dwol leapt her way into the record books, she kept the pens running, because a month later she did it again - at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships, where she landed 42-5.5-feet from where she started.
The mark capped the season as a US No. 3.
For Dwol's efforts, she's leapt herself into one of the top storylines in Colorado in 2022.
