Ryan Olree checked off all the boxes at the Let's Get REAL Invitational Championship Saturday.
The Denver South senior shadowed Jacob Bach around the track for seven-and-a-half laps before unleashing a furious kick to win the mile on the line in 4:21.24 to Bach's 4:21.38.
The win was a massive PR for Olree, who hadn't broken 4:30 indoors or out until Saturday.
If the race was a chocolate sundae, that PR has to be the cherry on top!
