The Durango sophomore sliced a massive 2:29 off his freshmen best, going from 12:51 to 10:21. Bonanno is one of three who slashed over two-minutes off their 2022 PR.
Pueblo South's Andres Cura takes second on this list with a 2:08 leap. A year ago he was a 12:17 3,200 runner. This year? 10:09.
The third runner to cut over two-minutes is Centaurus' Jordan Schatz. He improved by 2:02, going from 11:44 to 9:31.
For the girls Gabriela Boeckman tops this list.
The Mountain Vista sophomore went from 14:22 down to 11:59 for a leap of 2:22. She is one of two who took over two-minutes off their 2022 PR.
The other is Eaglecrest's Brianna Mullen, who chopped off 2:05. A year ago she was a 13:50. This year she took that all the way down to 11:45.
