In this edition of Colorado Leap Of The Year let's take a look at a more literal leap - the boy's pole vault.

Taking the cake is Merrick Bridgman!

The Douglas County sophomore went from 8-1 in 2023 to 12-6 in 2024 for an improvement of 4-5 - this is one of two performances that were leaps of over 4-feet. 

The other was Roosevelt's Tuc Trumble. He went from 9-2 in 2023 to 13-2 in 2024 for a leap of four-feet. 

Quinn Pascual (pictured above) took third on this list. 

The Discovery Canyon sophomore went from 11-7 in 2023 to 15-0 in 2024 for a leap of 3-5 - a year ago he didn't qualify for the state championships. This year he finished second.
