Atahlia Mills had an improvement of of 2-7.5-feet in the long jump.

Now we'll look at a literal leap - the long jump...

Topping the girls list is Olivia Hays

The Roosevelt junior went from 7-9 in 2022, to 15-1 this year. That's a massive leap of 7-4-feet. Clearly, she put in the work.

Hays was the only long jumper to have an improvement of over five-feet.

Taking silver was Rifle's Navaeh Henderson. She went from 11-7 last year, to 16-4 this year - that's a leap of 4-9-feet.

And one inch behind her was Sasha Naushad. The Highlands Ranch sophomore went from 12-4 last year, to 17-0 this year for a leap of 4-8.

Topping the boys list was Ibrahim Diarra

The George Washington sophomore leap from 14-7 to 19-7.75 for an improvement of 5-1.75. Like Hays, he was the lone long jumper with a leap of over five-feet.

Coming in No. 2 on this list was Harrison's Ricahrd Murphy. He was close to that five-foot improvement, going from 15-1 to 19-9 for a leap of 4-8.

And barely an inch back was Aidan Bates
