Let's take a look at the top returning squads in 2A...
A year ago the Banning Lewis Prep boys finished 19th at the state championships.
This year they return the top squad.
They look to be the only squad that has the potential to tally points in every area.
But two areas in particular are where they're likely to dominate.
And that's in the throws and the distance events.
The throws crew of Benjamin Early, Joseph Bjegovich, Brayden Skinner, and Julien Laderman is the best in 2A. Iff we add the distance crew of Paul Leeder, Donavyn Williams, and Jaxon Taylor, Banning Lewis is looking pretty tough to beat.
As good as they are in the throws and the distance events, Sedgwick is in the jumps and just a stride behind in the throwss.
Triple Jump defending state champ Brady Mollendor will be the key to Sedgwick here, while Liam Buettenback will battle with that stellar Banning Lewis crew in the the throws.
