Top Returning 3A Boys Teams For 2024

Could this be Jefferson Academy's year?

On paper, it looks possible. 

Jefferson Academy return two who have run under 16:30, and own a 1-5 average of 17:03, which leads 3A. Additionally they own a 1-5 split of 1:23, which is the smallest split among top-five returning squads. 

But you can never count out The Classical Academy. 

The defending state champs look similar to Jefferson Academy up front with two sub-16:30 returners. They own a 1-5 average of 17:07, and a 1-5 split of 1:28. 

Frontier Academy, Salida, and Berthoud look close as well - all three squads own averages between 17:08 and 17:09. 

On paper, it looks like the 3A team race could be tight!

Of additional note, Banning Lewis Prep have moved up to 3A, and could make a splash in their first year.
