Keeghan Edwards, Mountain Vista High School: Taking the top spot in this incredibly competitive race was Edwards in a time of 4:51. She is the first girl under 5 minutes in Colorado for this season and puts her top 15 in the nation, though her altitude converted time would put her near the top at 4:44.

Emily Cohen, Cherry Creek High School: Only a couple seconds behind Meineke was Cohen, running 4:56, which is only a couple seconds behind her personal best she ran at the state meet last year.

Juliet Frum, Mountain Vista High School: Just getting beat at the line, Frum ran 4:57.81 and though this earned her 5th place, it also earned her the 5th spot in the Colorado rankings in the event.

Emry Schwalm, Heritage High School: Right after running the 3200m earlier in the morning, Schwalm doubled back to run 5:02, a very strong double all things considered.
