Nike Outdoor Nationals Day 4 Results

The weather finally cooperated for the last day, as the sun finally came out during the second half of the competition. Colorado truly showed out, especially in the mile where the state had a staggering 36 participants in both the girls and the boys for the Emerging Elite and the Championship division.

In the girls' Emerging Elite, Emry Schwalm continued her impressive showing at Nike by placing 4th overall with a time of 4:57 and running the 3rd fastest time by any girl from Colorado at the meet. She was only one second from her PR that she set at Arcadia. Also breaking the 4 minute mark was Gianna Cicora, who placed 6th overall with a time of 4:58. This was her first time ever breaking 5 minutes, making the result that much better.

On the boys' side in the Emerging Elite mile, Carson Smith finished 3rd overall running 4:12 and not too far behind him was Cameron Shull, who ran 4:13 earning 5th place overall. Both ran to PRs and placements on the podium. In the Championship division Quinn Sullivan placed the best for Colorado, running a small PR of 4:07, which put him at 12th overall.
