As usual, she ran that time purely by herself, without any competition. She has consistently run in the mid to low 17s already this season, and it will be exciting to see how fast she can go in a more competitive field, considering she is already producing fast times without competitors pushing her.
Next on the list is Rocky Mountain High School's Nora Ebel, who has a season best time of 17:52, running that time at the John Martin XC Invitational. Her time tied her PR that she ran at the end of the season and at sea level, showing her potential to run so much faster as the season progresses.
