Tommy Gamlin of Chaparral High School sprinting to the finish and placing 5th overall in the Sweepstakes division at Liberty Bell. His time of 14:52 was over two minutes faster from last year. That kind of jump is incredibly impressive and puts him in an elite group of sub-15 minute 5kers.

Gamlin may have had one of our more impressive improvements based on the amount of time he improved and his placement in the race, but a top our list for the biggest improvement just based on time is Drake Fankhauser of Ralston Valley High School. He improved by over four minutes, almost breaking 16 minutes for the first time.

The next two on the list had a similar rate of improvement, dropping their times into the 16 minute range. Noah Shannon of Horizon High School went from 20:39 to 16:45 and Shawn Brogan of Arvada West dropped his 19:55 time from last year and crossed the line in 16:31 for this year!

Take a look at some of the rest of the amazing improvements from this year's Liberty Bell...
