Kiana Cumings, Windsor High School: Cumings won both the 200m and the 400m at the HOKA St. Vrain Invitational, running two season best marks in the process! She ran 23.81 and 54.81, putting her 200m time #1 for the state of Colorado and her 400m time at #3.
Addison Ritzenhein, Niwot High School: Ritzenhein won the incredibly competitive 1600m at the HOKA St. Vrain Invitational in a time of 4:46, beating out some of the best distance girls in the state of Colorado! Her time virtually ties her previous Colorado soil personal best, which she ran at the same meet a year ago.
Ryann Svoboda, Caliche High School: Svoboda is the top thrower in Class 1A, but also the top thrower in the whole state of Colorado, especially after this weekend. She won both the shot put and the discus at the Holyoke Dragon Invitational, throwing two personal bests! She threw 42-4.5 in the shot put, putting her at #2 in all of Colorado and 140-5 in the discus, putting her #3 in the state.
Sara Christensen, Thomas MacLaren School: Christensen won both the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles at the Friday Night Lights meet in Pueblo, running times of 14.48 and 44.21! She is the top hurdler in Class 2A and is ranked #7 in all of Colorado for the 100m hurdles and #8 in the 300m hurdles in the state.
Mountain Vista High School's 4x200m Relay: Mountain Vista ran a state-leading time of 1:38 in the 4x200m relay to win the Windjammer Track Classic! Their time ties the fastest time run in Colorado from last year with still the most important week of the season to go!
