Interestingly, 2A had more pre-state scratches than any other classification. Whether that is a fluke, something unique about the classification, or reflective of a setting-into-a-new-system year remains to be seen. What can be said, though, is that a lot of competitors who may not have thought they were going to state had good news coming on May 15.
