Things never quite feel right when you're displaced. The 2011 Mullen Runners Roost at Jeffco Stadium was a solid success, but for those who had previously been to a Mullen Runners Roost Invitational, it didn't quite feel the same.
The old atmosphere was back yesterday on the Mullen campus. This is the way the Mullen Runners Roost is supposed to feel. And, apparently, the competitors felt the same way.
It didn't take long for some big results to go up on the board.
The first featured race of the day was the girls 1600. Several girls with established reputations as top-tier distance runners toed the line. Joining them were a more who would shortly establish those reputations.
