The Classical Academy has always been known for their strength on the distance side, so it is no surprise that two of their athletes are a top of this list.
First we have Ryan Whitcomb, who improved by 1:47 on his 3200m time so far this season. He went from 11:52 in his freshman year to 10:05 this year. Though he is young, he still played a crucial role in The Classical Academy's cross country state lineup, showing his maturity to compete when the stakes are high. Considering how young he is Whitcomb will see lots more improvements with the rest of this season and for the rest of his time in high school athletics.
A teammate of Whitcomb's, Nathan Decoste also saw a huge jump in his 3200m time, going from 11:47 to 10:03. He actually raced in the same meet as Whitcomb, where he ran his 10:03 time, just finishing in front of his teammate.
