One thing that Boulder girls cross country seems to do well is to weather the storms of graduation. Over the years, Boulder High School has graduated a lot of notable female distance runners, but they never seem to end up short-suited in girls who can cover the cross country course.
Don't figure on the graduation of Sam Lewis impacting this team that much, unless it's from an emotional/leadership standpoint. Boulder figures to be, once again, among the most talented teams in the state. And you don't have to look far down the roster to see why.
