Huskies are friendly animals. It's just that it's generally bad news to get stuck in a race with a team of them. They've been mushing up the mountain slopes all summer and the state course at Bear Creek Park doesn't figure to be terribly daunting for this crew.

If you know Rob Parrish at all, you'll understand when I tell you he's kind of an excitable guy. So, we can only imagine how excited he got when he found out the new state course would play into his team's hands even more than the last one.

Even aside from any incoming freshmen Parrish may have waiting in the wings, this is a solid group. The returning top five have all run at least one race in 20:30 or less.
