Last season did not end especially well for Cherry Creek. The second circuit of the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds was unkind to the Bruins, leaving a very talented team in ninth place at the end of the day.
Don't look for lightning to strike twice in the same place. The core of this team is older and, it may be inferred, wiser now. Shane Rhodes and Noah Westfall are seasoned juniors now. Alec Brudzinski is a senior. And, if you missed the memo during track season, there appear to be reinforcements on the way.
