Maddie Manning, Lindsey Chavez, and Molly Morrison (front, left to right) each figure to be close to the front of the 3A girls pack once again this fall. Colorado Track XC file photo.
3A girls figures to be wide this fall and is guaranteed a new state title team this fall. Here's who I see being in top contention and why:
1. Moffat County - Unlike the Bulldog boys, the Moffat County girls pretty much bring back the franschise. Eryn Leonard leads a crew that stays pretty solid through at least number six. And, it will surprise nobody if Moffat County brings up a promising freshman or two. The pipeline in Craig has been working for a good, long time. Leonard is the only one with sub-19 credentials, but Brenna Ciesco, Bailey Hellander, Savannah Williams (attends Hayden, but runs XC for Moffat County), and Aubrey Campbell have all posted times right at 21:00 or lower.
2. Holy Family - Some much depends on how well the Tigers fill in behind Lindsey Chavez and Danie...
