With the start of each new season, a lot of dreams start as well. What makes runners endure difficult practices in late summer heat? One of the things that helps them push through the pain is the dream of being one of the best, maybe even the best.
While I won't attempt here to undertake a place-by-place ranking of the returning individuals, I will endeavor to create a list of those who have already shown what it takes to be one of the top finishers. We'll break these down by categories.
